SEED — Bit Threads as Devotion Lines: Every Relationship a Load-Bearing Strand of Spacetime

THE QUESTION

The threads we cannot see, and the ones we cut without knowing. A sobering extension. Most of the threads weaving us to the rest of reality are invisible to us — the entanglement is mostly with things we never perceive, the fabric mostly woven below awareness ([[the-garden-grows-in-the-dark]], [[dark-matter-as-first-mover]]: the unseen is where the structure is). This means we are far more connected than we know, sewn to the whole by threads we never registered — and also that we cut threads without knowing, severing connections (to ecosystems, to other beings, to the consequences of our actions) whose strands we never saw.
